Microblading is the new dimension of permanent makeup. It is an alternative method to ordinary permanent makeup with the pigmentation machine.
The difference is that no pigmenting machine or device is used; instead, the color pigments are introduced manually with special and sterile blades in the upper layer of the skin (epidermis).
The blades are formed by several juxtaposed needles, with which one slides on the skin and creates the most natural Microblading. Due to the absence of vibration (as opposed to machine techniques), the absolute fineness of the lines is achieved.
The so-called 3D, 6D and HD systems of Microblading are used, which simulate the natural growth of the eyebrows. This creates an individual appearance for each client.
The pigmented eyebrows look so precise and even that they are no longer recognizable as permanent makeup. The result is very natural, regardless of the amount of your own hairs.
The Microblading method originally comes from the Asia region, where as a client and as a cosmetics specialist, always attaches great importance to naturalness. For some time, this latest development of permanent makeup technology has reached Europe and quickly became popular with customers. Face Couture Berlin was one of the first studios in Germany to offer this filigree technique and proved to be an absolute professional in this field.
The new semi-permanent version of eyebrow tattoos. It’s not your grandmother’s stamped eyebrows; instead, the delicate and super-fine strokes look natural and realistic in a way that the first-generation versions never did.
The recent popularity of Microblading has generated micro shading and microfiber, two techniques that give a different appearance of eyebrows depending on your preferences.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a relatively new manual method that allows to recreate, correct and improve the appearance of natural eyebrows. This procedure is ideal for people who have natural eyebrows as well as those who do not.
The results are natural and lasting. The microplate procedure is often considered a type of permanent makeup, however, its concept is different: the ink is deposited with a manual pen, whose blade is 3 times thinner and allows technicians to draw neat, thin hairs and natural look The results usually last from 9 to 18 months.
We know what you are asking yourself: Yes, it hurts, but your first artist can numb the area. Compared with other techniques, «microblading gives a very natural look and simulates hair better.
Microblading How long
How long the micro-dependence lasts: you will need a retouch in about a month (the cost of this is usually calculated in the initial service fee). Then, the microdecussion can last from 12 months to three years, depending on your lifestyle.
Some ways to extend it: stay away from the sun, as it can fade the pigment and avoid placing exfoliants such as retinol and glycolic acid near your eyebrows, as they will raise the upper layers of your skin with continuous use. and the color with it.
Microblading Eyebrows that is
The semi-permanent secret to simulate fuller eyebrows that look totally natural, microblading is the solution without problems
Microblading is a type of eyebrow architecture. It is about creating the best shape for each face: a totally customized approach for each client.
The process is very precise thanks to the tool that is used, which is effectively like a ballpoint pen with the tip of a blade inclined with 10 to 12 small needles at the end: needles that do not penetrate the skin, but scratch delicately the surface. just like a paper cut.
The needle very well implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment in the epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair lines.
Microblading before and after
We understand: what you really want to know is how the results really look.
As can be seen in the image below, the microblading makes the eyebrows look thicker and more complete without appearing too ‘done’ or too full.
Care after microblading
‘During the next 10 days after the procedure, you should keep your eyebrows as dry as possible. Water is not allowed around the eyebrow area, as this can cause the ink to come out of the skin.
«We also suggest avoiding hot vacations, which will cause you to sweat excessively and remove the ink from your skin, as well as activities such as the gym or saunas.
Microblading Side Effects
‘In your first session, it is very common for your body to try to reject the ink, so you may experience up to 60-80% rejection.
«After your 10 days of healing, I suggest exfoliating the area twice a week to help reduce the pigment.»
Advantages of Microblading.
The special feature of microblading is the fineness of the lines, which would not be guaranteed with a vibrant tattoo needle.
The strokes are as wide as human hair. In addition, the new colors used in microblading are more stable and simply fade naturally over time without changing their color. However, it is essential to find a good «artist».
Not everyone knows the filigree method and, before taking the step, you must make sure you have gone to a trusted provider.
A Suman microplate treatment costs $ 500. This includes a consultation, initial treatment, as well as a recharge treatment after 6-8 weeks.

This is how Microblading works:
The girls were the first to take a long time to find the optimal shape of the forehead for me. As my eyebrows also have different levels, therefore, several times with the pen and the size of the eyes was drawn, until we were all satisfied.
Then he goes to the preserves. When the ointment that numbs me affects my eyebrows gently come to mind some doubts: What if I go out of here like Kim Kardashian, I’m allergic and next year I have to run a special low-set tiara?
But pinching is not. It’s too late anyway. So it begins. As I still do not have a tattoo, I could not prepare for the level of pain and honestly say: Easy is not. Depending on the location and the intensity of the pressure, the scratching is very uncomfortable.
But as the saying goes, if you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer. It’s okay. In the first session, the basis for the shape, color and intensity of the eyebrow is created. Only in two subsequent sessions everything is perfected.
After about two hours I finished. It is true that the color and shape were still unfamiliar at first sight in the mirror, but they reassured me immediately: it looks very different in two or three days. And: the pros were right.
To get the best result, I have to «wash» my eyebrows several times a day with a damp cotton cloth and apply petroleum jelly.
This helps protect against scabies and binds the color on the skin. On the third day, the first shock has already been overcome and I feel very good.
For the first time in the morning without an eyebrow pencil or gel outside the house, and that feels wonderful.
After four weeks, the first «Fresh-up» is underway. The initially strong lines have healed well and as it was announced they also faded. Since the skin regenerates completely in four weeks, this period must be strictly observed.
The second bite is now only half the pain. First, because I know what to expect, and second, because now I know that pain is really worth it.

Beauticians who strive for perfection in their work. Since the procedure is semi-permanent, it requires special attention at every step, from the drawing of the shape to the application of strokes for the hair.
However, the rewards for work are also exceptional. Microplate sessions vary between $ 500 and $ 2000, depending on the location and experience of the technician. Therefore, it allows to increase the income of the average beautician at least 3 times with a minimum of hours worked.
On the first day after waxing, wipe the eyebrows with distilled water on a cotton pad and apply an aftercare cream every four hours.
On the second day, repeat it three times. For the next five days, do this morning and night. It is possible that your forehead area is red and disheveled, so try not to schedule big things (for example, a great job interview or engagement photos) during the first week or two.
Also, avoid going to the gym, any excess sweat around the eyebrows will prevent the retention of pigments and can cause an infection.
Retouch of Microblading
The recharges depend completely on your personal preferences. «If you have had only one session, we recommend that you reserve between six and eight weeks to make sure that all the lines and color have been taken, as well as give you the opportunity to make minor changes, such as additional lines,» he advises.
Once both sessions are complete, customers can re-book anywhere between three months and two years. Everything comes down to the preference when a recharge is needed.
Microblading VS Eyebrow Tattoo
Microblading, unlike the tattoo, is not found in the deep layer of the skin, but on the surface. This is also not permanent, and the color fades in 18 months.
The strokes of the hair are much more natural and fine than any tattoo, since a needle / hand knife is used, there is no electrical device that permeates the depths of this technique.
Therefore, there is more of a scratching noise, rather than a buzzing tattoo gun that pierces the skin so deeply.
Can you be allergic to microdiffusion?
There are people who are sensitive and allergic to some pigments, but in my experience this is extremely rare. I will always make a patch or scratch test to verify that I am not allergic before treatment.
What really happens when you polish your eyebrows? Shaping the forehead area, threading the hairs, cleaning the area and preparing it for treatment.
Numbness: this takes 40 minutes using a topical ointment. While this works, its mind-numbing magic, I will show the client the color samples and discuss the best tone to achieve the desired look.
10 minutes before the numbing cream has reached the work stage, tools will be used to begin measuring the area around the eyebrows, taking into account the shape of the face, symmetry, facial features, etc.
Then the puncture process begins: gently implant the pigment through featherweight strokes. Each stroke is a superficial line on the skin where the colored pigment filters and settles. If there is any discomfort at this stage, we add another quick layer of numbing cream to the area that will take effect after 5 minutes.
Add a final layer of pigment that is kept for 5 minutes, clean the area and go! Beautiful eyebrows! The final layer of pigment is applied, do not panic! In 6 to 8 weeks, there is a recharge session to complete any space in which the pigment has not taken or cured correctly.
Why is there a recharge session and when does this happen? The recharge session occurs after 6-8 weeks. This is the time when I can evaluate the first steps, add more movements and add a darker pigment if you prefer.
Microblading After a Week
You will have to follow the instructions for aftercare (see below) and avoid any pitting or scratching. Your eyebrows will begin to heal, like a tattoo, which can cause irritation but is completely normal.
In the next ten days, more or less, the eyebrows will change color, may become scaly and appear to have faded, but this is completely normal. They will reveal their color and final shape after about 30 days. This can be reloaded in the second session.
How do you know which way to go? Should we bring pictures?
Customers are welcome to bring eyebrow style images that they like, or they come with eyebrow makeup that they usually use every day, but I will determine the color and shape to use from my years of experience.
Get the right color in Microblading
People come in and tend to want darker than they should, but it’s always better to go a little more natural: you can always add more in the recharge session for a darker color.
Observe the color of your hair, the color of the eyes and the tone of the skin using the Table, which also takes into account how your skin will change with sun exposure, etc., to ensure the correct choice of color pigment .
You will measure your eyebrows using a Microblading Rule to choose the perfect shape of the forehead that is individual for each client. Based on this, I will make the final form freehand.
How long does microblading last?
Microblading lasts between 12 and 18 months, but the longevity of the pigment will depend on your skin type. People with slightly more oily skin tend to last around 12 months before needing a refill, but people with normal skin can last up to 18 months.
Your eyebrows will eventually fade if you do not continue with refills every 18 months or so. There are no scars or discoloration with the pigments used, so you would not know if you left them to fade.
Does the microblade hurt?
It does not hurt as such, it is more a sensation. The process itself is not painful thanks to the numbing cream that is applied. Sometimes it is the sound of the sheet that people find worse: a small scratching sound.
The whole process is very fast: in reality it is the numbness that takes most of the time (50 minutes), you are not under the needle for the full 2 hours.
It is very important to know and understand that the eyebrows will be up to 40% darker in the shade during the first 7 to 10 days during the healing process, where they can form and form scales.
Ladies can sometimes leave the studio, and two days later, they are terrified that their eyebrows are too dark, but be patient, since this is totally normal! After 7-10 days, you will begin to see the final coloration.
Yes it is possible to remove the eyebrows, the pigment used leaves no scars or discoloration, and I can use a salt / saline solution to eliminate the microbial eyebrows.

How long does the microblading last?
The Microblading crayon lasts about 1 to 1.5 years, depending on the skin’s fat content and its regeneration rate.
How is pigmentation done?
The pigmentation is done with a special manual pen equipped with fine, sterile disposable needles. The microplate masters do everything by hand, controlling every movement and penetration depth of color pigment. This allows a perfectly clear and natural-looking falcon pattern.
Does the microdisposition method require further treatment?
Yes, 90% of the cases require a correction (post-treatment appointment) after one month (approximately 28 days after the skin is healed).
This is necessary for several reasons: The depth of penetration of the pigment is low and the lines are very thin and thin. Therefore, there is the possibility that in some areas a repetition of the pigmentation is required.
After healing, corrections in the shape and thickness of the eyebrows can be addressed by the client and performed by the esthetician.
If the client is not sure of the intensity of the color, the esthetician uses lighter shades during the first treatment. After one month, the color can be intensified at the request of the client.
Is the subsequent treatment included in the price?
Yes, a correction after approximately one month is included in our price. Of course, this will be done with a new needle and new pigments.
Do you use eyebrow templates or the form is created individually for each client?
The natural appearance is achieved individually for each client by simulating the natural growth of the eyebrows, through different 3D / 6D / HD drawing systems.
How does the microblading method achieve such a natural result?
The absolute fineness of the lines is achieved due to the absence of vibration (unlike the techniques of the machine). The lines are as wide as a human hair, which is achieved by using the finest needles at a certain angle.
How long does the redness or swelling remain after the microblading treatment?
The swelling is very rare and usually happens after an hour. The slight redness can reach up to max. 2 hours after the treatment. In 95% of cases, one is ready for socialization right after pigmentation.
Why the price is higher than the usual methods of the permanent makeup machine?
Due to the complexity of this delicate technology, the high training costs and the materials used in the process. The microplate technique requires special skills and a high level of specialized training.
Face Couture warns you against cheap suppliers who use cheap pigments or have no experience. Remember, it’s your face and the drawing you use for at least 1.5 years.
Does the color change to reddish or bluish over time?
The color does not change color with time. However, it loses some of its intensity because only high quality vegetable pigments are used in natural colors.
I have no hair and I would still like to get the most natural result possible. Is that possible? he Microblading method allows full restoration of the eyebrows, even if the eyebrows are completely absent or have gaps and scars.
The small cuts are so thin and thin that, in general, there are no differences between the real hairs and the drawn ones.
Who is this method of pigmentation suitable for?
Microblading eyebrows are suitable for those who wish to have beautifully formed but natural-looking eyebrows. And for those who want to spend less time.
What is the difference between 3D, 6D, 7D and 8D methods?
The process of microblading has existed in the East for approximately 20 years and, like all cosmetic treatments, has been perfected over time: the scheme of the hair optics, the thickness and shape of the needle, the development of new formulas and color pigments have changed significantly. Thus, several variations of the hair design have arisen, so there is an optimal formula for each type of eyebrow.
Is oily skin a contraindication?
No, but with oily skin, the durability of the hairline in microstrips can be reduced a little, the clarity of the lines can be lost over time. Therefore, these clients often need a correction.
The following image shows the different types of skin 1 month after the first treatment.
How are classic eyebrows different from HD Line eyebrows?
With classic eyebrows, individual hairs are pigmented according to a unique system in which each hair takes its place in the overall image. All hairs have their individual angles and curves. Result = creation of the illusion of natural eyebrows and real hair. With the HD Line eyebrows, a slight shadow is added between the drawn hairs, so that the forehead has a slightly more intense and even more expressive color.
I’m pregnant, can I still pigment my eyebrows?
No, we do not pigment pregnant or lactating women. Please be a little patient and do it when this time is over.
What should I consider before the microblading treatment?

Do not apply any oily product to the eyebrows the day before treatment. Please, do not drink coffee 4-5 hours before treatment because caffeine strengthens blood circulation.
I have already made an old permanent makeup with the device. Can I still have my eyebrows pigmented by microblading?
Normally you can cover the old permanent makeup with the Microblading method. The more discolored and shiny your old PMU is, the better you can create a new hairline drawing. It is important that the old PMU is not black or dark blue, since these colors can not be covered.
